San Diego Headshot Photographer | Personal Brand & Team Headshots
Headshots that actually feel like you
You do not need to know how to pose. You do not need to be “good at photos.” And you definitely do not need another stiff, overly polished headshot that could belong to anyone.
I create natural, strategic headshots and personal brand photos for San Diego professionals, creative entrepreneurs, business owners, and teams who want to show up looking confident, approachable, and like the real deal.
We’ll choose a setting that makes sense for your work, whether that’s your business, a studio, somewhere outdoors in San Diego, or a location that fits your brand. Then I’ll guide you through the whole thing so you can stop overthinking it and actually have fun.
Your photo should match where you’re headed, not where you were three years ago
Your business changes. Your career changes. Your style changes. If it’s been two or three years since you updated your headshots, there’s a good chance the photos you’re using no longer reflect the person doing the work today.
Fresh headshots give people a more accurate first impression before they ever meet you. They help your website, LinkedIn, marketing, press features, speaker bio, and social profiles feel current and put together.
Whether you’re a solopreneur building a personal brand, a creative professional updating your portfolio, a business owner refreshing your team page, or a company that needs a consistent look across the team, we’ll create photos that feel like a real extension of your work.
Not just a headshot. A little bit of context goes a long way.
The best headshots don’t just show what you look like. They give people a feel for who you are and what you do.
That’s why I love creating contextual portraits. A stylist might be photographed in their salon. A restaurant owner might be at their bar or in the kitchen. A wellness professional might need something calm and grounded in their actual space. A founder might need a mix of polished headshots and more casual images that make sense for their website and social media.
We’ll build the setting around your profession, personality, goals, and brand. Sometimes that means your physical business location. Sometimes it means a studio, my home studio, or finding the right corner of San Diego to match the vibe.
You get images that look elevated, but still look like they belong to you.
Headshots for the people behind the business
I work with people across all kinds of industries, including:
Creative entrepreneurs and solopreneurs
Salon owners, stylists, and beauty professionals
Wellness, fitness, and health-focused businesses
Corporate professionals and growing teams
Restaurant and coffee shop owners
Founders, speakers, and consultants
Anyone ready to look more like the version of themselves they’re becoming
If you’re thinking, “I hate photos of myself,” you’re in the right place. Truly. Most people I photograph tell me they feel awkward in front of the camera before we start. By the end, they’re usually surprised by how easy and fun it was, and by how much they actually love their photos.
You bring yourself. I’ll handle the rest. 📸

Need more than one great LinkedIn photo? Let’s make it a personal brand session.
If you’re showing up online regularly, a single headshot only gets you so far. A personal brand session gives you a mix of portraits, detail shots, working images, and lifestyle content you can use across your website, social media, email marketing, launch materials, and more.
We’ll plan around the parts of your work you want people to understand: what you do, who you help, what it feels like to work with you, and where you’re headed next.
Team headshots without taking over everyone’s day
Need updated headshots for your whole team? I offer San Diego corporate headshot days that keep the process organized, relaxed, and efficient.
I can come to your office, salon, restaurant, studio, or event space and create a consistent setup that works with your brand. For larger teams, we can schedule individual appointment slots so each person knows exactly when to arrive, gets photographed, and gets back to their day without a long wait.
This is a great fit for teams updating their website, LinkedIn profiles, recruiting materials, press assets, internal directories, or brand refresh.
“Working with Gina was a phenomenal experience!! She is so knowledgable, talented, and creative! Not to mention, she is SO FUN to work with!! I highly recommend hiring In Full Detail if you are a small business looking for clear and effective brand strategy and gorgeous brand-aligned visuals!”
You deserve photos that make you pause for a second and think, “Okay, damn. That’s me.” Not because they look overly edited or unlike you, but because they finally show the version of you other people get to see in real life.
Headshot session FAQs
I’m awkward in photos. Can you still help me?
Absolutely. Most people who book with me say some version of this before their session. You do not have to know how to pose or what to do with your hands. I’ll give you clear direction the entire time, keep things moving, and make sure you feel comfortable. No weird pressure, no stiff prom poses, no guessing.
What should I wear for my headshots?
We’ll talk through it before your session. I’ll help you choose outfits that feel like you, photograph well, and make sense for how you plan to use your images. I usually recommend bringing a couple options so we have some flexibility.
Where do San Diego headshot sessions take place?
That depends on your work, your brand, and the style you want. We can shoot at your business, in a studio, at my home studio, or at a location around San Diego that fits the story you want your photos to tell.
How long does a headshot session take?
Most individual sessions are 30 minutes to one hour, depending on how much variety you want and how many images you need. We’ll choose the right option during your consultation.
When will I get my photos?
Final images are typically delivered within one to two weeks. Need them sooner? Rush delivery options are available.
Can I use the photos for my website, LinkedIn, and marketing?
Yes. Your session includes a commercial-use license, so you can use your final images across your website, social media, LinkedIn, marketing, press materials, and more.
Do you offer hair and makeup?
Hair and makeup can be booked separately. I have a referral list of talented artists and can help you coordinate the right fit if you’d like support with that part of the planning.
Do you travel for headshots?
Yes! I’m based in San Diego and photograph most headshot sessions locally, but I travel often and am happy to discuss travel for the right project or team.
